Thalassa Suites is just 1.5 km from Karpathos International Airport, 14 km from the island’s port, and the capital, Pigadia. Airport transfer services are available upon request, and free private parking is provided.

Thalassa Suites is located right next to the ION windsurfing club, offering easy access for those who wish to store or rent windsurfing equipment.
Afiartis Beach is considered one of the top windsurfing destinations in Greece, stretching for approximately 5 kilometers and offering different difficulty levels for all experience levels—from beginners to professional athletes. The area hosts windsurfing events, attracting a large number of windsurfers.
The beach is divided into three different sections, depending on the level of difficulty:
Vatha (Devil’s Bay) – Ideal for experienced windsurfers, featuring strong winds and challenging conditions. Limni (Gun Bay) – Medium difficulty, suitable for those with prior windsurfing experience. Makrys Gialos (Chicken Bay) – Perfect for beginners, with calm waters and favorable conditions for practice. How to get to Karpathos

Karpathos has a modern international airport (AOK) with daily flights connecting it to Athens, Rhodes, and Crete via Olympic Air, Aegean Airlines, and Sky Express. The flight from Athens takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Additionally, Karpathos is served by flights from Thessaloniki, as well as seasonal charter flights from various European countries during spring and summer.

Karpathos is accessible by ferry from Piraeus and several other Greek islands. Ferries from Piraeus operate 2–3 times per week, with a journey time of approximately 14–18 hours, including stops at various islands along the route. The island also has regular ferry connections with Rhodes, Anafi, Chalki, Kasos, Milos, Santorini, and the ports of Heraklion and Sitia in Crete.
